Any guarantee, unless describes otherwise, is that items sold are in working condition.

TUBES GUARANTEE IS AS FOLLOWS: There is a 60 day guarantee from the time of shipping, with exceptions as noted below.
* The guarantee on sweep type tubes is 15 days from the time of shipping.
* There is no guarantee on tubes, the plates of which indicate overheating.
* The guarantee on tubes broken in shipment is for 3 days after the receipt of the tube.

ALL OTHER ITEMS are guaranteed, at the time of receipt, to be as described.

To make a claim the notice of claim must be received by us no later the day after the guarantee period stated above. Upon the receipt and possibly inspection by us of the item, and determination that the item is covered by the guarantee, we will either make a refund of the price plus $4.00, per shipment, or we will replace the item, the choice to be at our selection. Unless later agreed otherwise the defective item must be returned to us for inspection. We do not otherwise pay or reimburse the shipping cost of items returned to us. Do not ship items back to us before we authorize that. All PACKING MUST BE KEPT until it is determined that there was no damage incurred in shipping.

THE CODES used are as follows:
"U" = Used.
"N" = New.
"U?" = Probably used, but not certain.
"N?" = Probably new. but not certain.
"BAD" = It does not work.
"DUD" = Same as BAD, for display only.
"EB" = Engraved base.
"BB" = Brass base.
"TIP" = Glass envelope has a tip on the top.
"BAL" = Balloon shaped glass envelope, sometimes called "globe".
"GLOBE" = Shaped like a sphere, sometimes called "tennis ball".
